[/fusion_title][fusion_text] Μία από τις πιο «εκρηκτικές» τάσεις στο fitness η οποία που ήρθε για να μείνει, είναι σίγουρα το spinning. Τι ακριβώς είναι; Ουσιαστικά πρόκειται για αεροβική προπόνηση πολύ υψηλής έντασης, η οποία πραγματοποιείται σε ποδήλατο το οποίο είναι σταθεροποιημένο. Συνήθως, τα ποδήλατα που χρησιμοποιούνται στο spinning έχουν ειδικό σχεδιασμό. Συγκεκριμένα, αποτελούνται από μια ρόδα, η οποία συνδέεται με το πετάλι και μια λαβή που ρυθμίζει τη δυσκολία πέδησης. Τα περισσότερα μαθήματα διαρκούν από 45 λεπτά μέχρι 1 ώρα. Άλλωστε, ένα μάθημα spinning δεν θα μπορούσε να διαρκεί περισσότερο καθώς απαιτεί πολύ κόπο, ενέργεια και χρειάζεται να χύσει κανείς πολύ ιδρώτα για να καταφέρει να ανταπεξέλθει! Να σημειωθεί ότι στα μαθήματα υπάρχει πάντα ένας έμπειρος εκπαιδευτής-προπονητής ο οποίος καθορίζει τις ασκήσεις και τον βαθμό δυσκολίας τους και οι ασκούμενοι ακολουθούν! Κατά την διάρκεια της άσκησης υπάρχουν διαστήματα διαλειμματικής προπόνησης είτε υψηλής αντίστασης ή υψηλής ταχύτητας, τα οποία διαρκούν ορισμένα δευτερόλεπτα και έπειτα οι ρυθμοί γίνονται πιο ήπιοι.

Τα οφέλη

Το πιο σημαντικό όφελος είναι η καύση λίπους και πολλών θερμίδων. Ενδεικτικά, αν τα δώσεις όλα σε μια προπόνηση μπορείς να κάψεις από 500 μέχρι και 700 θερμίδες. Ως μια πρώτης τάξεως αεροβική άσκηση, το spinning ενισχύει την λειτουργία της καρδιάς και συμβάλλει στην αύξηση της αντοχής. Πέρα, από μια αεροβική άσκηση αποτελεί και γυμναστική για ενδυνάμωση. Οι κύριοι μύες που γυμνάζονται είναι τα πόδια. Παράλληλα, γυμνάζεται ο κορμός καθώς και οι πλάγιοι και χαμηλοί κοιλιακοί.
