Πρόκειται για το Rajio Taiso, που πολλοί πιστεύουν ότι θα τους βοηθήσει να ζήσουν περισσότερο. Η ιαπωνική ρουτίνα έχει μεγάλη απήχηση και σε άλλα μέρη, όπως στις Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες. Οι βαθμίδες

Υπάρχουν τρεις βαθμίδες δυσκολίας της άσκησης Rajio Taiso. Το πρώτο επίπεδο, το Dai-ichi, είναι αυτό που γνωρίζει και μπορεί να ακολουθήσει σχεδόν κάθε Ιάπωνας. Το δεύτερο, το Dai-ni, είναι πιο δύσκολο και το τρίτο, το Dai-san, έχει τον μεγαλύτερο βαθμό δυσκολίας και απευθύνεται κυρίως σε άτομα νεαρής ηλικίας, που έχουν δύναμη και ζωντάνια. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xwta–o3ETQ Το Rajio Taiso ενθαρρύνει τη χρήση μόνο του βάρους του σώματoς του ασκούμενου χωρίς την ανάγκη ύπαρξης εξοπλισμού. Το πρόγραμμα διαρκεί τρία λεπτά απαιτεί κυρίως σταθερή τοποθέτηση των ποδιών σε ένα σημείο με παράλληλες κινήσεις των ώμων. Το Dai-ichi αποτελείται από 13 κινήσεις και ξεκινά με ανύψωση των χεριών πάνω από το κεφάλι. Στη δεύτερη κίνηση, τα χέρια αρχίζουν να κινούνται στο ύψος του στήθους και περιστρέφονται σχεδόν ημικυκλικά ενώ αντίστοιχα κινούνται και τα πόδια.

Η καθιέρωση του συγκεκριμένου τρόπου εκγύμνασης στην καθημερινότητα των Ιαπώνων έχει ξεκινήσει περίπου από το 1920. Σύμφωνα με τους επικεφαλής της ιαπωνικής ομοσπονδίας Rajio Taiso, όσοι έχουν επιλέξει τη συγκεκριμένη μέθοδο γυμναστικής – έστω και για λίγα λεπτά κάθε μέρα – έχουν καλύτερα επίπεδα οστικής πυκνότητας και ταυτόχρονα διατρέχουν μικρότερο κίνδυνο να πάθουν εγκεφαλικό ή έμφραγμα.
