«Η ζωή είναι πάντα μπροστά» – Η ιστορία του Δημήτρη Χρόνη, που ο δρόμος του έσωσε τη ζωή

[/fusion_title][fusion_text] Την αξιοζήλευτη διάθεση του Δημήτρη Χρόνη για ζωή μοιράζεται η νέα επικοινωνιακή καμπάνια της NN Hellas. Ο κ. Χρόνης είναι ο μεγαλύτερος σε ηλικία Έλληνας αθλητής που τερμάτισε το Spartathlon! Ήταν φανατικός καπνιστής μέχρι τα 47 του χρόνια, όταν και αναγκάστηκε για λόγους υγείας να στραφεί σε μια πιο υγιεινή ζωή και ξεκίνησε το τρέξιμο. Έτρεξε τον πρώτο του Μαραθώνιο το 2002 σε ηλικία 51 ετών και από τότε έχει συμμετάσχει σε πάνω από 20 μαραθωνίους και 15 υπερμαραθώνιους σε όλον τον κόσμο και αγώνες από 100-140-180-246 χλμ, ενώ έτρεξε πρώτη φορά στο Spartathlon το 2017 σε ηλικία 66 ετών. Τα λόγια του ίδιου του Δημήτρη Χρόνη στο βίντεο της καμπάνιας αποτελούν έμπνευση για όλους μας και περνούν το πιο επίκαιρο μήνυμα από ποτέ, ότι προτεραιότητά μας θα πρέπει να είναι να φροντίσουμε τον εαυτό μας και την υγεία μας. «Το τρέξιμο δεν είναι η ζωή μου. Άλλα ήρθε μια στιγμή που με βοήθησε να πάρω πίσω τη ζωή μου. Όταν τρέχεις, όλα αυτά που έμοιαζαν αξεπέραστα, μέρα με τη μέρα σβήνουν. Πόσο χρονών είσαι, πώς ζούσες πριν, τι έχεις περάσει, ό,τι κι αν έχεις περάσει. Ο επόμενος στόχος θα είναι πάντοτε εκεί. Αλλά οι στόχοι έρχονται και φεύγουν. Δεν τρέχεις γι’ αυτούς. Τρέχεις γιατί είσαι εσύ. Χώμα, λάσπη, άσφαλτος»…
