[/fusion_title][fusion_text] Όσο μεταθέτετε προς το βράδυ τα γεύματά σας, τόσο μεγαλώνει ο κίνδυνος να παίρνετε περισσότερες θερμίδες και να απειλείται η υγεία σας. Ιρλανδοί ερευνητές διαπίστωσαν ότι όσοι τρώνε τις περισσότερες ημερήσιες θερμίδες τους το βράδυ, ακολουθούν λιγότερο υγιεινή διατροφή και παίρνουν μεγαλύτερο αριθμό θερμίδων από το φαγητό.

Στην έρευνα συμμετείχαν σχεδόν 1.200 ενήλικες, οι οποίοι εντάχθηκαν σε αυτή κατά την περίοδο 2012-2017. Κατά μέσον όρο το φαγητό το βράδυ αντιπροσώπευε το 40% των ημερήσιων θερμίδων τους. Οι ερευνητές χώρισαν τους εθελοντές σε τέσσερις ομάδες, ανάλογα με τις θερμίδες που προσλάμβαναν μετά τις 6 το απόγευμα. Το λιγότερο που κατανάλωναν ήταν το 31,4% και το περισσότερο 48,6%.

Όσοι έτρωγαν τις λιγότερες θερμίδες μετά τις 6 το απόγευμα κατανάλωναν συνολικά λιγότερο φαγητό και θερμίδες μέσα στην ημέρα, συγκριτικά με τις τρεις άλλες ομάδες. Αντίθετα, όσοι έτρωγαν τις περισσότερες θερμίδες το βράδυ, ακολουθούσαν την πιο ανθυγιεινή και παχυντική διατροφή από όλους. «Η ώρα της θερμιδικής πρόσληψης μπορεί να είναι μία σημαντική τροποποιήσιμη συμπεριφορά, την οποία πρέπει να λαμβάνουν υπόψη όσοι προσπαθούν να χάσουν βάρος ή σχεδιάζουν διατροφικές παρεμβάσεις για να βελτιώσουν την υγεία τους», δήλωσε η Δρ. Judith Baird, από τη Σχολή Βιοϊατρικών Επιστημών του Πανεπιστημίου Ulster, στη Βόρεια Ιρλανδία. Σύμφωνα με το onmed.gr, η επιστήμονας επισήμανε ότι χρειάζονται περισσότερες έρευνες για να εξακριβωθεί εάν και πώς επηρεάζουν τη σύσταση του σώματος και την υγεία, η κατανομή των γευμάτων μέσα στην ημέρα και το είδος των τροφίμων που καταναλώνονται το βράδυ.
