Τι είναι το functional training;

Ουσιαστικά, πρόκειται για μια μέθοδο εκγύμνασης που επικεντρώνεται σε συνδυασμούς ασκήσεων, οι οποίες γυμνάζουν ταυτόχρονα πολλές μυϊκές ομάδες. Δεν έχει καμία σχέση με το ασκησιολόγιο που εφαρμόζεις όταν προσπαθείς να απομονώσεις μία μυϊκή ομάδα.

Γιατί είναι σημαντικό να το δοκιμάσεις;

Η λειτουργική προπόνηση κάνει «θαύματα» για την υγεία αλλά και για το σώμα σου. Βοηθά ώστε να χτίσεις δύναμη, εκρητικότητα αλλά και μεγάλο εύρος κίνησης, το οποίο έχει πολλαπλά οφέλη στις καθημερινές σου δραστηριότητες.

Στο functional training εφαρμόζονται κυρίως ασκήσεις που έχουν χαμηλή κρούση στο έδαφος, κάτι που σημαίνει πως δεν επιβαρύνονται οι αρθρώσεις του ασκούμενου. Έτσι, είναι η τέλεια μορφή γυμναστικής για όλους τους ασκούμενους, ανεξάρτητα από το επίπεδο fitness στο οποίο βρίσκονται.
