Αγιουρβεδικό Μασάζ: Μια ολιστική θεραπεία για σώμα και πνεύμα

[/fusion_title][fusion_text] Η Αγιουρβέδα είναι ένα πανάρχαιο σύστημα παραδοσιακής ιατρικής που εμφανίστηκε στην Ινδία. Ετυμολογικά το Ayur σημαίνει ζωή και το Veda επιστήμη και έτσι το σύστημα αυτό σε ελεύθερη μετάφραση σημαίνει «η επιστήμη της ζωής». Θεωρείται η «μητέρα» των θεραπειών καθώς, σύμφωνα με εκτιμήσεις, ως τεχνική χρησιμοποιείτο περισσότερα από 6.000 χρόνια πριν. Η Αγιουρβέδα είναι μια εναλλακτική θεραπευτική μέθοδος που αποβλέπει στην υγεία του σώματος και του πνεύματος. Σύμφωνα με την φιλοσοφία της, μέσα στο σώμα μας υπάρχει συνεχώς μια αλληλεπίδραση μεταξύ υγείας και διαταραχής (δηλαδή ασθένειας). Το αγιουρβεδικό μασάζ εφαρμόζεται στα 107 marmas, που είναι τα ενεργειακά κέντρα του σώματος. Κάθε άνθρωπος ανήκει σε μία από τις τρεις ενέργειες (doshas) ή τύπους νου-σώματος που είναι οι Vata, Pita, Kapha. Συνοπτικά, η ενέργεια Vata αποτελείται από αέρα και αιθέρα, η Pitta από φωτιά και νερό και η Kapha από νερό και γη. O θεραπευτής, έχοντας κατατάξει τον θεραπευόμενο σε έναν από αυτούς τους τύπους ξεκινά το μασάζ από τα πόδια χρησιμοποιώντας βότανα και λάδια, που αντιστοιχούν στον κάθε τύπο.
